Portsmouth's Local Music Chart
Each week, you can vote for your favourite local artists to make it into Portsmouth's Local Music Chart,
We will announce the new top 10 on Portsmouth's Local Music Show and on the Express FM socials. Just select the song you want to be Number 1 below and hit submit to ensure your vote is registered!
Only one vote per person will count for the chart, so make sure to share this page so others can vote too!

Local Music Chart Rules
- Vote closes at 6pm every Thursday. Any votes submitted after this time will be carried over to the following week's chart.
- The primary artist(s) must be based within the PO postcode area.
- New songs uploaded through the Local Music Upload page on Express FM will usually be added to the voting list shortly afterwards. Artists should continue checking the listings after uploading.
- Only one song per artist(s) will be eligible for voting at any one time.
- Any song that does not reach the Top 10 will stay on the voting list for at least four weeks.
- Songs will be removed from the voting list if they do not appear in the Top 10 for eight consecutive weeks.
- If a song drops out of the Top 10, its eight-week countdown starts again from that point.
Example:
- A song charts in the Top 10 for two weeks.
- It then drops out of the Top 10.
- If it does not return to the Top 10 within the next eight weeks, it will be removed from the voting list.
