There’s a new soundtrack to Portsmouth’s afternoon rush hour from January as Dave Joyce moves to the later time of 3pm, live every weekday on Express FM.
The legendary Pompey DJ, who has been presenting weekday afternoons on Express since October, will accompany your journey home with great songs, a whole host of features (including the ever popular Express Rewind Mystery Year from 5pm) and interviews with a wide variety of interesting local people, as well as Portsmouth’s most up-to-date travel news.
Darren Gamblen, the current voice of 4pm-6pm every weekday and one of the station’s longest-serving presenters, will continue to pop up and remain a much-loved and crucial member of the Express family.

"I have loved every minute of my first couple of months on Express FM in the afternoon and I can’t wait to keep our listeners company while helping them beat the queues around town as they drive home.
"I’d like to thank the big D (Darren Gamblen) for leaving me such massive shoes to fill… quite literally! Rest assured, we’ll still be hearing plenty more from him on Express in 2024!"

Joycer will be getting you home with Aqua Cars every weekday, 3pm-6pm, only on Express FM starting Tuesday 2nd January.
