Portsmouth’s Retained List Published

Following the conclusion of the 2025/26 SkyBet Championship season, Portsmouth Football Club has submitted its retained and released list.

Pompey will compete in the second tier of English football for a 3rd successive season when the 2026/27 campaign rolls around in August.

Whilst the future of head coach John Mousinho remains uncertain, amid reported interest from managerless Bristol City, the club has today announced its retained list.

Blues captain Marlon Pack recently penned a 1-year contract extension (read more).

Andre Dozzell rejected a new Portsmouth deal and decided to join MLS outfit D.C. United instead (read more).

Jacob Brown (Luton Town) and Conor Chaplin (Ipswich Town) will both be free agents in the summer after their respective contracts at their parent clubs come to an end and will not be renewed.

 

Jake Smith will be joined alongside Henry Deacon on Monday, the 18th of May from 6pm for an episode of The Football Hour to discuss the retained list.
