Express FM announces changes to Pompey Live

Robbie James, Jake Smith, Jade Widdows, and Rosie McDonnell are your new Pompey Live team.

Launching this Saturday (4th December) the new Pompey Live show welcomes Pompey Women's Jade Widdows and Rosie McDonnell on a rotating basis to bring a footballer's perspective and critique of the blues performance. Also joining as a regular contributor is Pompey Women gaffer Jay Sadler.

Express FM's Football Hour host Jake Smith continues to bring the fans passionate reaction and insight, whilst Robbie James returns to Express FM to host the show. Commentary will continue to be provided by Andrew Moon and Guy Whittingham from BBC Radio Solent.

We'll hear from the manager and players before and after the game, we'll take a deep dive into the opponents, and continue to showcase fans reactions and thoughts about the blues performance.

On top of what you'd expect, we'll also have a weekly competition to win things like tickets, club merchandise, and a signed copy of FIFA22.

The new show will also feature regular updates from Pompey in the Community, including updates about fundraising for the John Jenkins stadium, discussions with the Pompey History Society, and previews of Pompey Women's next fixture.

This new show will also put Express FM back on the iFollow match day streaming service for all league games so you'll get exclusive passionate Pompey discussion and no mentions of that red and white team down the road.

Pompey Live launches with its new lineup on Saturday 4th December on 93.7FM, and DAB Digital Radio. You can also listen to the pre and post-match online and on your smart speaker, just ask it to “Play Express FM”!
