Hayling School Big Reunion 1940s - 1960s

Hi everyone, the Hayling School Big Reunions start soon!

Please may I ask you share with all your school friends that the reunions will relate to, to make sure they know about the reunions.

The reunions are for pupils who went to Hayling County Primary School and Hayling Coop School up to the time the Hayling Secondary School opened and then the Hayling School from 1962 up to 1999.

Hayling didn't have Secondary School education up until April 1962 when Hayling Secondary school opened with Mr Pepper as its Headmaster. Prior to that time kids from Hayling had to go off the island via bicycle, bus, car or train to Secondary schools, such as Oak Park, Havant Grammer, Churchers College and Warblington Schools.

The first reunion is for school leavers from 1940s - 1960s on 5th September 2026 from 12pm - 5pm.

The school leavers from Hayling Secondary School in the 1970s is also on the 5th September from 7pm - midnight.

The school leavers from the 1980s is on the 12th September 2026 from 7pm - midnight.

The school leavers from 1990s is on the 19th September 2026 from 7pm - midnight.

Entry is £10 with tickets on entry.

Everyone will be given coloured name badge (sticker or badge holder whichever is preferred ) with corresponding coloured wristband so it will be easy to see classmates.

Teachers are most welcome.

There will be a professional photographer on each event taking photos.

Please arrive on Hayling early on each day as there are roadworks on the A27 which may cause delays.
