Port Solent announces Christmas wreath making workshops

Port Solent is extending its Festival of Christmas offering this year with the recent announcement of its Christmas wreath making workshops.

The workshops being held on Saturday 14 December have been launched in response to the increase in popularity of wreath making which gives friends and family the chance to get together during the festive season and create and take home some wonderful crafts to show off at home.

The sessions are £35.00 per person and this includes all the materials, expertise on how to make the wreath and decorate it.  Hot drinks and refreshments will also be provided at the workshops being held undercover outside The Trading Post at Port Solent.

There will be a capacity of 10-12 people per workshop and these will be hosted at 10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm and 3.30pm-5.30pm by local florist Claire’s Floristry.

If the workshops on Saturday 14 December sell out, Port Solent will be holding additional workshops on Sunday 15 December at 10am-12pm and 3pm-5pm.

Port Solent’s Lisa Fowler said: “We’re really excited to launch the wreath making workshops, it’s a great addition to our Christmas activity and we’d be delighted to see fans of our Festival of Christmas weekend joining us again for the wreath workshops.

“Claire’s Floristry has been a regular stall holder at our monthly markets and at the Festival of Christmas selling her wonderful wreaths and now everyone of all abilities has the chance to make their own under Claire’s guidance.”

Bookings must be paid in advance and are non-refundable.  To book your place on one of the workshops email info@portsolent.com.
