Stephen Morgan has taken the Portsmouth South seat with 18,290 votes. Since 2015 the constituency has been Conservative and before that Liberal Democrats for over 10 years.
Flick Drummond lost her seat by only securing 16,736 votes.
Liberal Democrat, who have historical done very well in Portsmouth South, only managed to receive 7,699 votes with Gerald Vernon-Jackson.
Other candidates in Portsmouth South were UKIP with Kevan Chippindall-Higgin (1,129) and Green Party with Ian McCulloch (712).
